Project Overview:
This project aimed to develop a data visualization dashboard for an electric vehicle (EV) charging company to manage their fleet of charging stations efficiently. The dashboard needed to provide critical insights into fleet usage, charging times, voltages, and associated costs.
The Problem:
The company faced challenges in tracking and optimizing the performance and costs of their numerous EV charging stations. Without a unified view of the stations' data, it was difficult to manage operations efficiently and make informed decisions regarding maintenance, energy consumption, and cost management.
Target Audience:
Station Managers: Needed tools to monitor real-time operations and performance metrics of each station.
Operations Team: Required insights into overall efficiency, usage patterns, and potential bottlenecks.
Financial Analysts: Needed to assess cost implications and profitability based on the data from the stations.
Design Approach:
Discovery Phase:
